I Love Technology

SFA played a club last night that had free wifi, so we got to
(video) iChat for the first time. I got to say hi to Chris and Rob
and even got to meet Salvatore.
How exciting!

Half-a-Hundred

There are officially half-a-hundred days left...

(Boomer.)

From Italy with Love

I'd say things are going well for the SFA tour of Italy. Here's the cake from the house party that their promoter Salvatore hosted in their honor (Wiser said it was soooooooo good):

On the Oklahoma front, M.O.B. and I are plugging away...I'll try to post some pics that won't give away everything we've been up to.  M.O.H. has been helping me with styling: picking an outfit for our engagement photo session next weekend.

Going to the Big D

I'm headed to Dallas this morning with mom and dad; we're keeping our fingers crossed that we find something wonderful and new and different. I'll let you know :)

I did hear from Chris this morning: they made it to Milan with no hitches and are staying in Alessandria for the next two days. He has already had "one of the best meals" of his life. Salvatore, the promoter that he's working with, is really funny and friendly; in his broken English, he already told Chris "When you come back, I pay to bring wife, too." Whee! That's what we were hoping and praying for! I think he should come home now...

Viva Italia!

Chris took me out for a date night before he leaves for his Italian tour Thursday. We had a nice dinner at The Metro and sort of decided that this was our calm before the storm, since it's 2 months from today....

Coming up Roses

I thought I was going to have to wait two more weeks to meet Lily Rose, but she decided to make her appearance yesterday afternoon, with time to spare before before the OU game (which I'm sure her daddy appreciated).
Congrats Jana & Jeremy!

Look at all of that curly dark hair! (Wiser was so jealous.)

Galveth-ton meets Ike

When we were little, my mom's family spent a week in Galveston for Grandma and Grumpy's anniversary; it was a such a fun trip that my cousins and I still remember fondly...so here's to Galveth-ton (Adam couldn't quite get his tongue around its name while we were there).

67

Today there are 67 days left...supposedly 67 is the number that merges analytical intelligence and creativity. Sounds like a good day to accomplish some wedding tasks!

I didn't get much done this weekend, but I had a lot of fun with friends at a shrimp boil, the ou game and wrapped things up with a baby girl shower.

The new SoonerVision:

My sweet friend Jana is expecting her first baby, Lily Rose, at the end of the month. Jana has been a dear friend since jr. high days; I was honored to be her MOH and can hardly wait to meet little Lily!

Dear OG&E,

...how exactly am I supposed to plan a wedding without any electricity? Could you please do something about that ASAP?
Thanks,
